The 30th Annual General Meeting of MCCA members was held on the 25th of October 2019 at the Mantra Bell City in Preston, Victoria.
The Grand Mufti of Australia Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed Mohammed (who’s also a Shariah Advisor to MCCA) in his keynote speech emphasised the significance of MCCA to the community in recalling it’s milestones and achievements over the past 30 years.
We’re also grateful for the attendance of Sheikh Alaa El Zokm (Board of Imams Victoria & Imam of El Seddeaq Mosque), Sheikh Rabih Bayte (Board of Imams Victoria & Imam of Maidstone Mosque) and Almir Colan(Shariah Advisor to MCCA & Member, AAOIFI working group). Following the auditor KPMG’s presentation of the audit report, MCCA’s audited 2019 financial year reports were adopted by the attending members.
The event concluded with a highlights of MCCA’s achievements over the past 30-years and a presentation by management on our 5-year plan.We would like to thank our service partners, distinguished guests and attending members for making our 30th AGM a success..
